Confounding Factor

When the effect of one factor cannot be properly distinguished from the effect of another factor, the two factors are confounded. Confounding factors can affect the internal validity of the study.

Quando o efeito de um fator não pode ser claramente distinguido do efeito provocado por outro fator, então os dois fatores são fatores de confusão. Os fatores de confusão podem afetar a validade interna do estudo.
