Test Power
This is the probability of rejecting the null hypothesis when the alternative hypothesis is true. This probability is that in which the test will reveal a true pattern if the Null Hypothesis (H0) is false. The power of test can be expressed as: Power = 1 – Beta-value (β).
This is also known as statistical power, or just power.

Esta é a probabilidade de rejeição da hipótese nula quando a hipótese alternativa é verdadeira. Esta probabilidade é aquela na qual o teste irá revelar o verdadeiro padrão, caso a hipótese nula (H0) seja falsa. O poder do teste pode ser expresso como:
Poder = 1 – β
Também é conhecido como poder estatístico ou poder.
