Response Variable
The quantitative outcome of an experiment. The response variable of an experiment in Software Engineering is the project, phase, product or resource characteristic that is measured to test the effects of the provoked variations from one experiment to another. The response variable is sometimes called dependent variable.

Produto quantitativo de um experimento. A variável de resposta de um experimento em Engenharia de Software é a característica do projeto, da fase, do produto ou do recurso que é medida no teste de efeito das variações de um experimento para outro. A variável de resposta também costuma ser chamada de variável dependente.
