Blocking

Blocking is used to systematically eliminate the undesired effect in the comparison among treatments. Within one block, the undesired effect is the same and we can study the effect of the treatments on that block. This technique increases the precision of the experiment, and can be used when the effect of the factor is known and controllable.

Bloqueio é sistematicamente utilizado para eliminar o efeito indesejável na comparação entre os tratamentos. Dentro de um bloco, o efeito indesejado é o mesmo e nós podemos estudar o efeito dos tratamentos sobre esse bloco. Esta técnica aumenta a precisão do experimento, e pode ser usada quando o efeito do fator é conhecido e controlável.
