Random Assignment
Random assignment provided a means of comparing the yields of different treatments in a manner that ruled out most alternative interpretations. Random assignment requires experimental units, and treatments are then assigned to these units by a process of random selection which determines the treatment that each receives.

Atribuição aleatória fornece um meio de comparar os rendimentos dos diferentes tratamentos de forma a excluir a interpretações mais alternativas. Atribuição aleatória exige unidades experimentais, e os tratamentos são atribuídos a essas unidades, em seguida, por um processo de atribuição aleatória que determina o tratamento que cada um recebe.
